House Rules

FlowSpace was created to foster and support a community by providing members with a beautiful space to get done whatever it is that you need to do. By joining FlowSpace, our members agree to certain rules for our community.

To be a part of a community such as ours, members must adhere to the rules and be considerate of each other to foster a fun, yet productive and professional work environment. Therefore, as a condition to membership, we each agree to abide by the Rules

So here are the Rules, which all members agree to:

Please behave well and treat others the way you would like to be treated.
You can talk on the phone just do not abuse the privilege or be annoying (aka no yelling). No speakerphone in community spaces.
You may not remove the desks or chairs from the space- what you see is what you get.
You will not abuse the wifi.
There is to be no microwaving of stinky foods. No fish, no cabbage, no broccoli, no curry...please, nothing stinky.
No playing music aloud. Use headphones please.
We are a no smoking space. Please be mindful of fellow members and our neighbors by smoking away from entrances and people traffic. The benches by the lake are a great spot.
Any decoration or furniture must be approved by FlowSpace - no political signs or ads are allowed.
The fridge will be cleaned out every Friday at 5pm. No mercy will be shown. The only survivors will be unopened, unexpired, sealed foods and unexpired condiments. We will throw your Tupperware away if it is left without a note. No exceptions.
The fridge is shared. Please only pull out what you put in.
If someone follows you into the building you are responsible for them and any damage they cause. We have a security system for a reason. We want to protect our space and your stuff.
No squatting in unleased offices or using meeting rooms without booking and paying for them.
Coffee is free and plentiful. If it runs out- just let us know.
No kitchen appliances allowed in offices or at desks. If it blends, percolates, toasts, grills or otherwise... it is not allowed. We will provide the necessities.
No fridges/freezers mini or otherwise are to be put in your office.
No persons under the age of 18 permitted without expressed permission of FlowSpace
As much as we’d love to have our fur friends at the office, but we
are not a doggy friendly space.
Be mindful of your confidential and sensitive information. Others may hear what you’re saying.
Do not make defamatory or disparaging comments about FlowSpace or other members.
Clean up after yourself—do your dishes and do your part to keep the space tidy.
Throw trash in trash cans. Put recyclables in recycling bins.
Let us know when something needs fixing or improving!
